A map of piano-recording-chaos.
We took the front panels off the piano for two reasons. 1) Better overall sound quality. 2) It makes it easier to get the mics in where the action is.
We closed a sheet into the piano bench to stop this weird squeaking noise that happened every time I moved (ever listened to a piano recording and hear a weird squeak or creak? It was probably the bench).

My lyric sheets & chords were hung from a mic stand. I don't have any of the scores / music notation written down for any of my songs - just the basic chords - and I play from that.
